Curriculum Intent
At The Grange Primary School, we view Computing as a window to learning fundamental skills and enhancing cross curricular opportunities across our school. We intend to deliver a curriculum which is accessible to all and that will enable the development of each individual child’s ability and academic achievement in Computing. Our key focus is that children leave primary school computer literate and we educate them to live in a world where technology is continuously and swiftly evolving and prepare them for careers and jobs that don’t even exist yet. Computing skills are a central component in enabling children to become confident, creative and independent learners and it is our intention that children at The Grange Primary School are afforded every opportunity available in order for them to achieve this.
