Welcome to the Religious Education Page
By means of a non-denominational programme, the school aims to develop an awareness of the importance of religious and moral values and also to promote understanding of and positive attitude towards other races, religions and ways of life.
Children gather for collective worship in a variety of situations and group sizes depending on their Key Stage. There are two whole-school assemblies (Monday and Friday), one Key Stage 1 assembly (Wednesday) and one Key Stage 2 assembly (Tuesday). In addition, in-class collective worship takes place for Key Stage 1 on Tuesday and Thursday and for Key Stage 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday. An additional assembly for those children in the Special Needs classes is held on Friday.
