Community Garden

On Saturday 5th October, children, parents, grandparents and friends came together to plant over seven hundred daffodil bulbs to create our ‘Marie Curie Spring Garden.’  They also replanted our young strawberry plants which we hope to sell in our Spring Plant Sale.

Autumn is a very busy time in the garden and other jobs we completed during the day included pruning our fruit trees and the laying of a new path. We also made sure we did not forget our wildlife, using leaves to create dens and filling up our bird feeders and bird baths.

We ended our activities with a well-deserved chat and refreshments in the L30 Community Centre.

A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us.
